Middle School Tennis Club
The 2010 Session of the MS Tennis Club finished this past week. And we would like to give a big THANKS, to Coach Jill Katsaros and the high school players that helped her. With them volunteering their time, it has enabled the MS tennis program to grow in the right direction. This year was definitely a success, with almost 40 students particapating and with the focus of getting the students to a point to where they can play a game or possilbly a match, this has established a base (having enough students that are capable of playing a match) that we have high hopes to arrange some competitive matches with other schools next spring.
Thanks Again To: Coach Katsaros, Ryan, Tyler, Dylan and Zach

In the Spring of 2008 a tennis program was started up again for a two to three week period by Coach Baleja (now with the Paw Paw coaching staff) and Coach Turner with help from some of the high school players to give 6th,7th and 8th graders an opportunity to learn and play tennis. Again, in the Spring of 2009 with Coach Sandusky and Coach Turner a program was run for a two to three week period after the Girl's High School season ended and before school let out for the summer.
It is our vision to develop this two or three week program into a more “Club” type program that would last the whole tennis season and meet 1 to 2 times a week and possibly playing other schools that have a middle school program. But, we need help! Both Coach Sandusky and Coach Turner have the responsibility of the High School Boy's and Girl's Tennis Teams and running several tennis camps during the summer, that leaves precious little time to develop this “Club” program. This is why we are looking for help from a parent or two to over-see some of the practices and/or meetings. This person(s) does not need to have a vast knowledge of the game of tennis, just the commitment to volunteer an hour or two a week or even an hour or two every other week.
If you are interested in helping, or would like more information about what's involved
PLEASE, contact either Coach Sandusky or Coach Turner
